Insurer $TRV reported a 18% drop in 2Q16 earnings due to catastrophe and certain non-catastrophe weather-related losses and lower net investment income. Net income fell to $664MM or $2.24 per share from $812MM or $2.53 per share last year. Revenue rose 1% to $6.79Bil. Operating EPS decreased by 13% to $2.20.
