New York-based $IPG reported that it had strong growth in regional markets, with US, Asia-Pac and UK showing good advances in 3Q15. In U.S., organic growth was 7.1% with growth in agencies including McCann, Mediabrands, FCB, Deutsche, R/GA, Weber Shandwick and Golin. International also grew 7.1%. All client verticals grew in 3Q15.
$SBUX launched its annual “Starbucks for Life” competition in the U.S. and Canada. The winner of the competition will receive a credit of one drink or food item per day for a duration of 30 years.
$T shares rose 1.8%, as a big boost for the S&P 500. The company said its new streaming television service DirectTV has so far exceeded expectations.
