Video game retailer $GME said its total global sales for the nine-week holiday period ended Jan. 2, 2016 grew 1.8% to $2.99Bil compared to the holiday sales period in 2014. Foreign currency exchange rates reduced total sales by $119.5MM. Total comparable store sales grew 4.4%, growing 4.9% in the US and 3.2% internationally.
