$XL's annualized return on average ordinary shareholders' equity dropped to 0.9% in 3Q15 from 2.9% in 3Q14. The decrease was mostly due to a decrease in its net income attributable to ordinary shareholders, result of its increased loss ratio as well as increased corporate operating expenses, which include relevant integration expenses.
