Automobile company $GM reported solid results for 2Q16 driven by strong retail sales in the US and record sales in China. Net income was $2.9Bil or $1.81 per share in 2Q16 compared to $1.1Bil or $0.67 per share in 2Q15. Net income grew 157% in 2Q16. Adjusted EPS was $1.86. Net revenue grew to $42.4Bil from last year.
