$UAL said that for 2Q16, the company expects non-fuel unit cost to grow 2.5-3.5% and for FY16 unit cost is expected to grow 2-3%. Based on the cost and revenue guidance, $UAL expects its pre-tax margin to be between 13-15% for 2Q16. In 1Q16, $UAL generated approx. $1.2Bil of operating cash flow and $376MM of free cash flow.
Any idea why some investors are happy about the disastrous $UA results??
