Santa Clara, California-based company $A said 1Q16 results were driven by continued strength in the pharma, clinical and diagnostics markets. Pharma revenue for the quarter grew 19% YoverY, while clinical and diagnostics revenue grew 7%. The company said that all of its operating regions grew on a core basis with China having the strong growth.
The latest earnings report by $VZ shows how it is losing customers despite offering the unlimited data plans, a record for the company.

$WFC agreed to hike its payout in a class-action settlement over unauthorized accounts by $32 million to $142 million for its retail sales practices. The settlement will now include customers who were impacted as early as May 2002.
