Toy maker $MAT posted higher 3Q16 results, helped by lower expenses and continued strength in its core brands. $MAT said net income rose 5.58% to $236.3MM, or $0.68 per share from $223.8MM, or $0.66 per share a year ago. Net sales was flat YoverY at $1.8Bil and was up 2% in constant currency. Excluding items, $MAT earned $0.70 per share.
