Payroll and human resources company $ADP reported a rise in 2Q16 earnings driven by lower effective tax rate and fewer shares outstanding. Net income rose to $341.4MM or $0.74 per share from $331.5MM or $0.69 per share last year. Revenue grew to $2.81Bil from $2.65Bil. Adjusted EPS from continuing operations increased by 4% to $0.72.
