Home decor retailer $KIRK reported a wider 2Q16 loss due to weak traffic across its retail locations as well as higher costs and expenses, despite a 6.7% growth in sales. Net loss widened to $3.57MM or $0.22 per share from $2.29MM or $0.13 per share last year. Net sales grew to $123.02MM from $115.29MM.
The latest earnings report by $VZ shows how it is losing customers despite offering the unlimited data plans, a record for the company.

$WFC agreed to hike its payout in a class-action settlement over unauthorized accounts by $32 million to $142 million for its retail sales practices. The settlement will now include customers who were impacted as early as May 2002.
