Sprite, Fanta and Dasani water maker $KO said that it expects improved performance in Europe and Africa as the year progresses, but said that it will continue to face headwinds from markets such as Russia, Brazil and China.
$RTN has been awarded $235MM by the US Navy for Standard
Missile-6 all-up round production missiles and spares. $RTN will begin delivery
in 2018. The missiles will be deployed on Aegis cruisers and destroyers to
support US Navy fleet operations.
$TNGO appoints Dhesi Ananchaperumal as Executive Vice President Engineering. In this new role, he will report directly to CEO Jim Foy and head the company's Engineering and Research and Development organization of more than 500 employees worldwide.
$HAL stated that in Latin America, the company expects revenue to be up a little bit in 2017, however expects to have a margin impact and believes revenue would fall back down to the low single digits. Also, margins in Latin America is expected to fall back into the low single digits.
$HCP announced that Peter Scott will join the company as Executive Vice President and CFO, effective February 13, 2017. Scott succeeds Tom Herzog who was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in January 2017.
$MTX has elected Matthew E. Garth as Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this Garth was associated with Arconic Inc. Under this new role at $MTX, Garth will have global responsibility for Finance, Tax, Treasury, Audit, Information Technology and Global Shared Service Functions.
