$MU's Embedded business unit posted 2Q16 revenue of $460MM, down 4% from 1Q16. This was impacted by softness in demand from the consumer and industrial multi-market segments, offset by continued strength in the automotive segment. Storage business unit revenue was $901MM, up 2% vs. 1Q16 with non-GAAP operating loss of $18MM.
Seems like $AMD has hit the right wind. Its stock was up almost 9% to $9.45 on Tuesday following reports that it signed a licensing deal with Intel.
