Maker of semiconductors $TXN said that on April 29, 2016, it agreed to issue $500MM principal amount of debt, which it expects to use for repayment of a portion of maturing debt. The offering is expected to close on May 6, 2016. The company had $1.28Bil of cash and cash equivalents and $1.52Bil of short-term investments as of March 31, 2016.
