Financial services firm $SCHW reported a 36% jump in 1Q16 earnings driven by higher asset management and administrative fees and a jump in interest revenue. Net income rose to $412MM or $0.29 per share from $302MM or $0.22 per share last year. Revenues grew by 16% to $1.76Bil.
