Great results from $TSLA, however the question remains if Tesla can continue to scale up to produce the cars in the quantity it promises. Model 3 numbers need to be in multiples of what they are producing right now. Wish them the best, will keep an eye as I am still not convinced that they can scale easily.

Online travel major $EXPE said 3Q16 earnings fell to $279.3MM, or $1.81 a share, from $283.2MM, or $2.12 a share, from a year ago, hurt in part by higher costs. However, revenue jumped 33% to $2.58Bil. Gross bookings, another key metric for travel companies, rose 21% to $18.59Bil.

Medical technology company $SYK posted higher 3Q16 earnings, helped by higher sales. Net income for the quarter rose 17.94% to $355MM or $0.94 per share from $301MM or $0.79 per share a year ago. Revenue for the quarter rose 17% to $2.83Bil. Excluding items, $SYK earned $1.39 per share.
