Furniture maker $MLHR reported a rise in 4Q16 earnings driven by favorable commodity costs, production leverage and operational improvements from ongoing lean enterprise focus. Net income rose to $40.7MM or $0.67 per share from $23.4MM or $0.39 per share last year. Net sales grew 5.8% to $582.6MM. Adjusted EPS increased 19.1% to $0.56.
