Animal health company $ZTS posted higher 1Q16 net earnings of $204MM, or $0.41 per diluted share vs. 1Q15, helped by increased amount in provision for taxes on income. Adjusted EPS was $0.48 for the quarter. Revenue jumped 5% to $1.2Bil vs. 1Q15, reflecting an operational increase of 12%, excluding the impact of foreign currency.
