In 4Q15, $COST repurchased 1.836MM shares for $260MM at an average price of just under $142. For 2015, $COST spent $484MM at an average price of $142.87. Dividends per share were $0.40 for 4Q15 or $1.60 a share annualized. $1.60 per share dividend represents an annual cost to the company of about $700MM.
