Prescription drug distributor $CAH reported a rise in 2Q16 earnings on strong growth in revenue and gross margin. Net income rose 13% to $326MM or $0.98 per share from $289MM or $0.86 per share in the year ago period. Revenue grew significantly by 23% to $31.4Bil from $25.5Bil a year ago. Excluding items, $CAH earned $1.30, up from $1.20 last year.
