$UNP's business volumes, as measured by total revenue carloads, for 4Q15 fell 9% from last year. Freight revenue for 4Q15 slid 16% from last year, as volume declines, lower fuel surcharge revenue and negative business mix more than offset core pricing gains. Train speed, as reported to the Association of American Railroads, rose 13% to 27 mph.
