Cigarette and tobacco company $PM reported 1Q16 net earnings attributable to company of $1.5Bil or $0.98 per diluted share, down 15% versus $1.8Bil or $1.16 per diluted share in 1Q15, hurt by lower net revenue. Net revenue excluding excise taxes fell 8% to $6.1Bil, due to unfavorable currency effect and impact of acquisitions.
