$FIT, a maker of popular wearable fitness-tracking devices, reported lower 1Q16 results, hurt by higher investments in research and development. $FIT said net income fell 77% to $11MM, or $0.05 per share from $48MM, or $0.22 per share a year ago. Revenue rose 50.5% to $505.4MM. Excluding items, $FIT earned $0.10 per share.
