Energy holding company $NI reported 2Q16 income from continuing operations of $28.7MM, or $0.09 per share, compared with a loss of $73.1MM or $0.23 per share a year ago, helped by the impact of its long-term regulatory programs and utility infrastructure investments. Operating income was $138.2MM for the quarter compared with $84.4MM a year ago.
