Industrial machinery & equipment company $IR 3Q15 earnings rose 6% to $1.17 per share and net income rose 3% to $300.9MM compared to a year ago. Revenue rose 3% to $3,487MM YoverY. U.S. revenues were up 9% excluding acquisitions compared with 2014 and revenues from international operations decreased 7% (up 1%, excluding currency and acquisitions).
$FOXA just entered into a preliminary deal with Sky plc under which it will acquire all shares, or should I say remaining shares for a total value of $23 billion. The sleeping fox catches no poultry, but this fox just caught something that’s a lot bigger than poultry.
