$LUV ended 2Q16 with 719 aircraft in its fleet. This reflects 2Q delivery of 7 new $BA 737-800s and 6 pre-owned Boeing 737-700s, as well as the retirement of 8 Boeing 737 Classic aircraft. The company continues to plan to end this year with 723 aircraft. $LUV announced a restructured Boeing delivery schedule in June to adjust future deliveries.
$BA won a $22 billion deal from SpiceJet, their largest order from an Indian airline.
