Insulin Humalog maker $LLY reported higher 2Q16 results, helped by 2015 charges related to the repurchase of debt, and higher operating income, partially offset by higher income taxes. $LLY said net income rose 24% to $747.7MM, or $0.71 per share, and revenue rose 9% to $5.405Bil. Excluding items, $LLY earned $0.86 per share.
