$GWW, which supplies components that maintain, repair and operate facilities of industrial giants, reported a lower 2Q16 profit, hurt by lower sales, lower gross profit margins and higher expenses. The company posted 2Q16 earnings of $172.7MM, or $2.79 per share, compared with $220.5MM, or $3.25 per share a year ago. Sales rose 2% to $2.6Bil.
