$BR said that the biggest driver of revenue and earnings growth continues to recurring revenue. The growth in recurring revenue was largely organic, with contributions from tuck-in acquisitions, mostly those closed in FY15. 2016 recurring revenue grew 9% to $1.9Bil. Revenue from closed sales accounted for 6 points of the 9% growth.

$WFC agreed to hike its payout in a class-action settlement over unauthorized accounts by $32 million to $142 million for its retail sales practices. The settlement will now include customers who were impacted as early as May 2002.
