Motion and control technologies company $PH posted higher 4Q16 results helped by lower cost of sales and expenses. $PH said net income attributable to common shareholders rose 34.74% to $241.80MM or $1.77 per share from $179.45MM or $1.27 per share a year ago. Net sales fell 5.95% to $2.96Bil. Excluding items, $PH earned $1.90 per share.
