Airlines company $LUV said it has filed an application with the US Department of Transportation requesting approval for daily flights to Cuba. Company has applied for nonstop flights to Havana from 3 Florida airports, and also to Varadero and Santa Clara from Ft. Lauderdale. Upon approval, $LUV expects to start service to Cuba later in 2016.
