As of Sept. 30, 2015, $UNH's cash, cash equivalent and available-for-sale investment balances were $27.9Bil. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2015, the company's US regulated subsidiaries paid their parent companies dividends of $3.5Bil, and $UNH had approx. $1.1Bil in ordinary dividend capacity remaining for the year.
