Canadian telecommunications firm $TU announced an offering of $600MM senior unsecured notes with 10-year maturity. The 2.80% notes were priced at $991.89 per $1000 principal amount for an effective yield of 2.891% per annum maturing on Feb. 16, 2027. The net proceeds will be used to repay approx. $453MM of outstanding commercial paper & other uses.
