$MAT, owner of toy brands like Fisher-Price, Barbie, and American Girl, posted a loss for 1Q16, hurt by lower net sales. $MAT said it posted a net loss of $73MM, or $0.21 per share compared to a net loss of $58.2MM or $0.17 per share a year ago. Net sales fell 6% to $869.4MM. Excluding items, $MAT posted a loss of $0.13 per share.
