Restaurant operator $CBRL reported a 39% jump in 3Q16 earnings driven by reduction in commodity costs and focus on cost savings initiatives. Net income grew to $49.17MM or $2.04 per share from $35.32MM or $1.47 per share last year. Revenue rose by 2% to $700.14MM. Adjusted EPS increased to $1.82 from $1.49.
