Natural gas pipeline operator $SE posted lower 1Q16 earnings, hurt by income tax expense. Net income from controlling interests dropped to $234MM, or $0.35 per share compared to $267MM, or $0.40 per share during 1Q15. Operating revenue fell to $1.38Bil, hurt by lower revenues from Distribution and Western Canada Transmission & Processing segments.
