U.S. airlines giant $DAL reported a 4% decline in 3Q16 earnings due to technology outage, continued revenue headwinds and volatile fuel prices. Net income fell to $1.26Bil from $1.32Bil last year, while EPS rose to $1.69 from $1.65 on lower weighted average shares outstanding. Adjusted net income was $1.26Bil or $1.70 per share for latest quarter.
$FOXA just entered into a preliminary deal with Sky plc under which it will acquire all shares, or should I say remaining shares for a total value of $23 billion. The sleeping fox catches no poultry, but this fox just caught something that’s a lot bigger than poultry.
