$AAL reported total revenue passenger miles for September 2016 declined by 1.7% from last year and capacity or available seat miles slid by 0.4%. Total passenger load factor fell by 1.1 percentage points to 81.6%. $AAL expects 3Q16 revenue per available seat mile to be down about 2-3% YoverY and pre-tax margin excluding special items of 13-15%.
