$SKYW said its Aug. 2016 block hours fell 5.8% to 169,939 versus 180,436 in Aug. 2015, consistent with company's fleet transition plan to improve aircraft mix by adding new E175 aircraft while reducing its 50-seat jets. $SKYW's dual class aircraft represented about 42% of total block hour production for the month versus 39% for Aug. 2015.
$SBUX launched its annual “Starbucks for Life” competition in the U.S. and Canada. The winner of the competition will receive a credit of one drink or food item per day for a duration of 30 years.
