Apparel and accessories retailer $ROST reported an increase in 2Q16 earnings helped by higher sales. Net income was $282MM or $0.71 per share in 2Q16 compared to $259MM or $0.63 per share in 2Q15. Sales rose 7% to $3.181Bil, with comparable store sales up 4%.
