Parent of Camel and Pall Mall cigarette maker $RAI reported a 58.7% dip in 2Q16 earnings due to last year's gain on divestiture related to the Lorillard acquisition in June 2015. Net income fell to $796MM or $0.56 per share from $1.93Bil or $1.69 per share last year. Net sales jumped 33% to $3.2Bil. Adjusted EPS increased by 13.7% to $0.58.
