In 2Q16, KEY's average assets were $99.2Bil vs. $93.9Bil in 2Q15, reflecting growth in average loan balances and an increase in short-term investments related to higher levels of liquidity. The company said that average loans were $61.1Bil, up $3.2Bil vs. 2Q15. The growth mainly occurred in the commercial, financial and agricultural portfolios.
