$SFG announced the completion of acquisition by Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Co. Due to the merger, each outstanding share of common stock of $SFG was converted into the right to receive $115 per share in cash, and the company has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meiji Yasuda. $SFG common stock has ceased trading and will be delisted from NYSE.

Great results from $TSLA, however the question remains if Tesla can continue to scale up to produce the cars in the quantity it promises. Model 3 numbers need to be in multiples of what they are producing right now. Wish them the best, will keep an eye as I am still not convinced that they can scale easily.

Pharmaceutical distributor $MCK reported a 49% fall in its 2Q16 earnings per share that fell to $1.35, hurt by charges, but revenue rose 2% to $50Bil. The results included a non-cash, pre-tax goodwill impairment charge of $290MM, or $1.24, and pre-tax credits of $10MM, or 2 cents.
