$ROK said that its average diluted shares outstanding in 3Q16 were 130.8MM, down about 3.5% compared to last year. During 3Q16, the company repurchased 1.1MM shares at a cost of about $122MM. YTD, $ROK has repurchased 3.5MM shares at a cost of $370MM. At 3Q16-end, there was $1.075MM remaining under the previous share repurchase authorizations.
